Event FAQs

The Asthma Allies Fun Run and Walk is located at Hilliard Davidson High School: 5100 Davidson Rd, Hilliard, OH 43026.
The walk will take place at the athletic stadium for the school. 

 
You can park in the parking lot across from the athletic stadium.
Yes, we will still have our event rain or shine! For extreme weather we will send an email update as well as update on our Facebook page.
We understand if you cannot make it due to weather, but thank you for your support!
You can register in person, but the registration fee will change to $35 the day of. We prefer if you registered ahead of time so we can make sure we have an event t-shirt for you and an accurate head count. We will have some extra t-shirt sizes on site but to make sure you get your correct size, register before the event!
If you would like to register and also create your own fundraising team, select the option "Create Fundraising Page". 
If you would like to register for the walk as an individual, select "register" and purchase a ticket. You can have your ticket price go towards a fundraising team if you would like. 
If you are walking with a team we encourage you to wear team shirts or team colors! Show your team pride! You will receive an event T-shirt at check-in and can wear that as well. Tennis shoes and athletic clothes are recommended. 
Yes! We would love for you to attend, but if you are not able to, you can still donate on the home page under the "Donate" tab. Thank you for your support!

Donate FAQs

Yes. You can make a donation to a walker on a team or you can make a general team donation.
All donations should be mailed to:

Please make all checks payable to: Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America. Please make sure that in the memo it says who the donations should be credited to.
Click on the homepage and begin typing the first or last name. Your options will display as you type.
Any donation made online should post immediately. If an online donation does not post within 5 minutes, please contact us.
If you check this checkbox, you will be charged the amount indicated next to the checkbox. This amount will also be visible to the non-profit. However, on the fundraising page, your intended - initial donation amount will be displayed.
All monetary donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.
Any donor who mailed their donation and provided an address will receive a receipt via mail once the donation has been processed. If you made your donation in installments, you will receive a receipt each time a monthly payment is processed.

A Tax ID number identifies Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America as a 501(c)(3) non-profit Organization. The Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America Tax ID number is 13-1691693.
When you make a donation online, you can designate what you want to appear as your recognition name on the participant's Honor Roll. This may be your name, or it could be something such as "From the whole Wolf family" or "in memory of Aunt Cathy."

Fundraising FAQs

If a donation check has been written out to you personally, you may endorse the back of the check and mail it in with a completed donation form to Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America.
It is not a good idea to send a cash donation in the mail. You may drop off the cash at Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America along with your information or you can deposit the cash into your checking account and send a personal check from your account.

You can't enter a check online. What you can do is enter a check as a pledge. This can be done in the fundraising section of your headquarters page. The status of the check will be pending until the check is received by Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America.
A Tax ID number identifies Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America as a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization. Many donors will request this number to validate their donation as tax-deductible. The Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America Tax ID number is .
As your donors make a contribution, they have the option of whether or not they want to appear in the Honor Roll.
Log in with your email and password to visit your headquarters page. Select My Fundraising Report on the left side. You will then find a list of all of your donors as well as a list of all donors to your team .
To easily send thank-you emails to donors, follow these steps:
  1. Log in to your fundraiser dashboard by clicking the "My HQ" link in the top right
  2. Click "My Fundraising Report" in the left sidebar
  3. Locate the donor/donation you'd like to thank, and click "Send Email" (If the donor didn't submit their email address, this option is unavailable.)
  4. Type the message in the pop-up window, and click "Send Email"

If you want to create a fundraising team, where you will have a fundraising goal and do your own outreach for more donations, register as a "fundraiser".
If you would like to register as an event attendee without doing additional fundraising, register as an adult, or child attendee. 
A personal URL is a shortened link to your team or personal page that you can send to friends and family in emails. A personal URL will look like this https://aafa.rallybound.org/AsthmaAllies/ben.
When a donor makes a donation online, s/he can enter text to appear on the fundraising honor roll. This may be the donor's name, or it could be something like "From the whole Wolf family" or "In Memory of Aunt Cathy".
