Anthony doesn't let his five food allergies and asthma define him. He is an athlete, a student, and an advocate for the asthma and allergy community. This year, he joined a nationwide community of fundraisers and supporters championing the Asthma and Allergy Foundation of America's mission to improve the lives of the asthma and allergy community by bringing the AAFA Allies Fun Run & Walk to North Carolina on Saturday, September 26, 2026.We held this event at the start of asthma peak season for a reason. September is when a surge of seasonal triggers leads to more asthma attacks, emergency room visits, and hospital stays. It's a powerful reminder of why community support matters so much, and why we gathered when it matters most. Donations are still welcome, and your support can still make a difference.

More on Anthony's Story
When Anthony found AAFA in 2020, he found something he hadn't had before. He found resources and support that helped him and his family manage his conditions with confidence. Grateful for the support his family received, he decided to pay it forward by fundraising for AAFA's programs and raising awareness about these conditions and how to manage them. Since 2021, Anthony has raised over $40,000 for AAFA.
