The AAFA Allies Fun Run & Walk is located at Fred G Bond Metro Park, in Cary, NC. 801 High House Rd, Cary, NC 27513.
Registration will take place at the Kiwanis Shelter. 

Parking is available at the Kiwanis Shelter or the Field 1-4 parking lot across from the Kiwanis Shelter. 

Yes, we will still hold the event in the rain. If there is dangerous weather or thunder and lightning we will update everyone on cancellations. 

If you would like to register and also create your own fundraising team, select the option "Create Fundraising Page". 
If you would like to register for the walk as an individual, select "register" and purchase a ticket. You can have your ticket go towards a fundraising team if you would like. 

If you are walking with a team we encourage you to wear team shirts or team colors! Show your team pride! You will receive an event T-shirt at check-in and can wear that as well. Tennis shoes and athletic clothes are recommended. 

Yes! We would love for you to attend, but if you are not able to, you can still donate on the home page under the "Donate" tab. Thank you for your support!

Yes. You can make a donation to a walker on a team or you can make a general team donation.

When you make a donation online, payment processors charge a small fee to handle the transaction, typically around 2–3% of the donation amount, plus a flat fee (often $0.30). This fee is deducted from your gift before it reaches us, meaning a $100 donation might only be $97.00.

When you choose to cover the processing fee, you're adding that small amount on top of your donation so we receive 100% of what you intended to give. For example, on a $100 donation, covering the fee might bring your total to around $103.
Donors should never feel obligated — even without covering fees, the donation is deeply appreciated.

if the donor covers the fee, the entire amount they pay (donation + fee) is generally tax-deductible, since it's all going to the nonprofit. It's worth recommending donors consult a tax advisor for their specific situation.

If you check this checkbox, you will be charged the amount indicated next to the checkbox. This amount will also be visible to the non-profit. However, on the fundraising page, your intended - initial donation amount will be displayed.

All monetary donations are tax-deductible to the extent allowed by law.

When you make a donation online, you can designate what you want to appear as your recognition name on the participant's Honor Roll. This may be your name, or it could be something such as "From the whole Wolf family" or "in memory of Aunt Cathy."

Any donor who mailed their donation and provided an address will receive a receipt via mail once the donation has been processed. If you made your donation in installments, you will receive a receipt each time a monthly payment is processed.
